As opposed to what? The brilliant music being made nowadays? Are there even decent guitarists in this day & age? You guys don't even have good bands anymore. Justin Cyrus & Miley Bieber?
The last decent bands were in the 1990s. The 1980s sucked with the 'big hair glam bands'. The 1990s had Nirvana, STP, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, etc. Rap is crap. Hip Hop is slop.

There is plenty of good music out there still you just have to dig a bit more to find it. I could post "modern" bands with great guitarists all night :tongue2:
