Uh, no. Everything that trendal said.

In the same article that i was reading about how they slowed the speed of light, they had also talked about how they managed to have something move faster than the speed of light. they didn't really elaborate on what was moving faster than the speed of light...and the only reason that i bought this up is because i thought that it was intresting...they want to use this whole slowing of light thing in the computer industry, to help unclog communications lines....while some things are zipping along at C others take an indirect route, slow down, and arrive later, thus helping to ease the bottle neck of standard optic communications...i got this all from a popular mechanics magazine, not sure if it was the latest issue or what, but i'm sure it's on their sight...

and what if light didnt' exist...if something were traveling, would't it be traveling faster than this non-exsitant light? but of course if light didn't exist, then there would be no frame of reference.

Quarks cannot be isolated, because of their residual color charge.
So No quarks of any matter generation or flavor are ever seperated, if the space between quarks in hadron confinement grows it will eventually 'break' into additional quark/antiquark pairs.

Oh yeah and a quark is a by defintion fermionic.
if not then why are nucleons reffered to as fermionic hadrons?

Bosons are only force carriers or mediating particles (photons, gluons, W, and Z particles)

My bad! I had fermions/bosons mixed up :smirk:

Once, men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free.
But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.
