Stained teeth from years of smoking

Hey there, I have been a smoker for more than 20 years (I only smoke bud / tobacco mix now no cigarettes) and my teeth are fucked. They are yellow and it's embarrassing, I keep my mouth closed most of the time and don't talk, people think I am depressed cause I don't smile much anymore. I'm still happy I'm just hiding my mouth.
I've tried so many of those whitening toothpastes and not only do they do fuck all, they take too long to do it
I want to try a natural remedy and was thinking of the baking soda and lemon juice method. Before I burn my gums off has anyone tried this? Anyone know of anything else I can get my hands on that would work?
Thanks for your help.

Go to a dentist or try an actual tooth whitening product [not toothpaste, a product marketed solely to whitening] (though I find these to be dubious).
Guarantee no natural remedy is going to work. They MAY (and say that with great skepticism) help people who weren't smokers, but it is absolutely not going to make a difference in your case.
Pretty much any dentist you consult on this matter is going to tell you that you need professional whitening, and it's not just to get your business. Go find one online who doesn't get paid to answer your question and doesn't live anywhere near you and could hope you'd get their business, they will tell you the same thing, guaranteed.

Why do you want to try a natural remedy?
Next time you are watching television, go ahead and look everyone's teeth. They are all perfectly white. Do you know why? Because they get them professionally whitened by their dentist.
You do go to a dentist regularly right?
Next time you go for a cleaning, mention to them that you want your teeth whitened. They will give you your options, and chances are, your insurance will cover a percentage.

whitening strips work, but even cheaper you can get the active ingredient in them which is hydrogen peroxide gel inside syringes and buy them off ebay and amazon for dirt cheap. Its the same stuff the dentist use.

I swear that stuff turns the bottom of my teeth clear and after words they're still yellow they used to have these strips you put on your teeth and by the time my braces came off they were banned because the dentist were probably bitching about how something that effective shouldn't be available they were just strips and you would actually peel it off god dammit why did i miss that, braces were a serious cock block that i regret ever dealing with

I would go to a dentist, my brother had some really messed up teeth after only 7 years of smoking cigarettes. Then he had his teeth whitened and it's a bit nicer to look at, but they still have a subtle yellow tint that's never going away.
If I were you, I wouldn't be embarrassed by the color of my teeth. As long as they aren't full of holes, and they function properly you should be fine.
