I like it...you've got the Chesapeake Bay (which I was on yesterday, and, BTW...crabs are running nicely in the rivers), some oceanfront...and then Western Md. which has some pretty good sized mountains, for Appalachia.

Not a big fan of Baltimore city although the suburbs are ok. Basically, Maryland is pretty diverse (geographically) ...with a lot to offer for most of my outdoor tastes. Also, the job market is fairly decent if you have a degree. If you have a graduate degree, there's alot of tech industries...biogenics and pharmacology...as well as government jobs to be had.
