my PC no longer possible? I didnt see it as an option, only saw no avatar or copying a pic from a webpage.

This is what I see in the MY HOME section re: avatar spefications--

There may be multiple choices below for specifying your image. If you are changing your current image, select the radio button next to the option you are using to change your image.

Your current avatar::

I no longer want to have an avatar.

URL to your avatar (70x70 max pixels, may be smaller) (.gif, .jpg, .png accepted)

I see no "Upload from my CP" option

That's what I have too. I think the "upload from PC" button dissapeared with the UBBTHREADS update. I've been uploading from under "reply" since then, dunno, maybe there's another way... :confused:

oh well, I just took a really cool pic with my digicam that I wanted to use as an avatar. I guess Im SOL or PC Stupid. Either way, its not terribly important....

You can still make it your avatar, just do the upload from under "reply" and copy/paste the address to myhome>preferences>URL to your avatar

I have an instruction guide on this in my manual. Go to your gallery and choose any picture that you've uploaded and there is an option to make that your avatar.
You can upload pictures directly in a post by clicking the little picture icon.
Or you can go into your gallery and upload directly from there
