Shrooms + Weed = Crazy Time.. Shrooms + No Weed = Any Time?

I've takin shrooms my share of times and usually I'll wait about an hour to realize nothing is happening to me.. Then I smoke a blunt and halfway through the blunt I'm tripping my face off. Do shrooms just take mad long to hit if you dont blaze? Or do they NOT hit? Just wondering cause I wanna quit smokin weed and I'd like to eat mushrooms til I die :smile:


Also Does anyone know if shrooms have any long term affects? Thanks

do you take them on a full stomach? if you do, try not to eat a couple of houres before you eat them...

i'm off in 20 or 30 minutes no matter what way i took em. Smoking weed makes me trip harder but relax more :wink:.

i ate 8 grams once and it took 15 mins for me to start my trip and it lasted 28 hours, i would say level 2-3 trip (mazas)... i eat 3 and it takes 30 mins - 2 hours. metabalism and body weight play a part in onset time but not intensity from meo

hmmm, personally I havent found much or any difference. I mean, if I'm already baked I often forget I took the mushrooms, so the visuals come as a bit of a shock, or somehow I'll be so stoned that I don't even notice that faces/patters are changing shapes at the very beginning. Maybe I'm not smoking enough, or at the right time, but I really don't find much of a difference, but I'm not exactly a seasoned tripped, either....

There's a lot more clarity and happiness when I don't smoke... Pot makes it a lot more visual, but clarity is reduced, I mellow out some, lethargy and memory "fuzziness" increase... I usually decide beforehand whether I will be going for extreme visuals and weirded out, extreme trippiness (via smoking), or extreme clarity and beautiful thoughts with minor visuals (via shrooms alone).

after trippping lotts of times, and allways smoking cannbis, iv come to this conclution.

smoking it before the tryptamin/fenetylamid/whatever has peaked, deminishes the effect of the drug, and allso makes the trip a bit more confusing.

smoking it during the peak prolongs and hightens the peak, but this to makes it a bit more confusing.

and smoking during the afterglow, is just a sweet sweet ride, the cannbis seems to prolong the trip, aslong as you keep smoking it. :smile: it can make a normaly 2g, 6h trip last 12-18h, just keep on smoking. :smile:

allthoe, comedown is a bit harder with cannabis, but it can be more plecent having both drugs in your system. :smile:

allthoe, smoking cannabis makes paranoia worse, if your prone to it.

If the Shrooms are taking a long time to come into effect then what would help the trip hit you quicker would be (if your just eating the shrooms by themself)To chew them up and hold them in your mouth for a long time. This lets the psilocybin travel to your brain faster and will shorten the time where your sitting there scratching your ass.
The longest time Shrooms took to hit me was just under 2 hours (5-6 Grams). I thought the guy had ripped me off after an hour and a half of waiting so then got tired and passed out. Around 20 minutes later I woke up and I was total mind fucked. A very pleasant way to wake up.

My last trip took over 2hrs to start. But I didnt chew them and I was on a full stomach...

What I've noticed is that there is a period of time after taking shrooms where you're not tripping or sober, but if you mix pot in at this time it'll take you to tripping :smile:

Because long ago I realized cannabis goes very well with acid AND shrooms, near the begining as you said it helps !!

I also find it helps halfway through and at the end!!!!

I try to trip only when I have cannabis, but I smoke cannabis almost everyday anyway :smile:, guitar , cannabis, mushrooms, call me simple but thats a GOOD USE of 6 to 7 hours

I took them once then smoked and got really stoned. Then, in a period of 5 minutes, I became sober. I was like wtf...then 5 more minutes, was tripping. Could not find any indication of THC in my system, at least how I felt.

i wanna trip without blazing also but its so hard to sit there for 2 hours and knowing if i smoke ill be tripping and if i dont i feel sometimes like i wont even trip..

i need patience :smile:

Won't take 2 hrs...twice now I've done shrooms with no weed at all, trust me, you will trip. :smile:

i always feel the first effects of the mushrooms max 30 mins after eating em...smoking weed might increase the effect of the coming up, but once you start tripping confortably i find that it does almost no effects...and i feel they take away a bit of the spiritual part of shrooms...my most enlightening trips were weed free :tongue:
