    #2139755 - 11/27/03 08:24 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

have anybody seen tables on at which time of the year (early or late season....or?) they contain the highest amounts of alkaloids and so on?

when extracting from rhizomes do you need to defat?

is phrag. australis and communis the very same plant?

i didnt find any Phalaris Arun... when i looked after them this summer

while loads of Phragmites Australis, i have many places read that they contain DMT in the rhizomes (Bufotenin, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT)
but none numbers

i was also wandering if it is easier to get a clean product out of rhizomes than leafs

hello yes phragmites is a good source i did a study a while back and found that late spring early summer before the plant flowers is the best time to harvest out of approx. 120g of wet root (dont take much to make this amount wet) the yield was 200mg of alkaloids. also lespedeza, desmanthus, desmodium are interesting specie to study. phalaris is a good source if you cultivate it right. and have a good specie.( this i know from personal experience). peace
