My Gateway is arriving on Monday for my new 4.4 3DS.
What games should i be putting on this thing?

Are flash carts easy to use? i've never used once but i played the shit out of these games.

Really depends on the flash cart.
There are a few out there that work on the new firmware version, v9.4.
They only play ROMS.

The Gateway only works on older firmware version, v4.0-4.5.
Even though it uses an old version, it still emulates the new version firmware, allowing you to update/go online.
It also allows Homebrew.

I still havent got mine, but if its anything like my NDS flashcart, then yes its pretty simple to use.

SSB & Zelda were pretty much the reason i got the new 3ds.

Are there still any good rom sites. Coolrom.com pulled all there nintendo roms bc nintendo is trying to corner the market on there virtual emulator shits they have on the 3ds and wii now.

I got all the 3ds roms, 1 - 0992, All 561 GB of it...
I use BitGamer for my games/rom needs.

I'd get Kingdom Hearts 3D (dream drop distance), especially if you like other square enix game's like final fantasy. If you are a fan of Kingdom Hearts aswell you would enjoy it, though i find it too be an unnecessary chapter in the series that is overcomplicating it. Though we will see how it all fits together once the new KH3 is released next year.

Sweet, I have later firmware, 9.2 or somethin',works w/ Cubic Ninja hack... am considering the Sky3DS now that they've released a version w/o a 10 game limit (what selfish crap) rather than waiting for Gateway to get their shit together.

Favorite 3DS games are both zeldas, super mario 3d land, fire emblem, bravely default, pokemon y amongst others...

Dont do it...
Keep your DS @ 9.2!
Gateway is releasing support for 9.2 here soon.
Then you can get you a real card. One that cant be blocked by future updates.
Plus it has emunand!

I know they are allegedly releasing it sometime soon, but I'm tired of waiting.  I think the SKY3DS keeps on working, it won't be blocked by future updates because it's basically acting as if it's some legitimate game cartridge, unless they can choose to just blacklist that game from future updates.  It would be cool to have homebrew all in one rather than swapping out to the Cubic Ninja game, once blargsnes is actually worth using.

You can't downgrade 3ds firmware to my knowledge or install CFW... Ppl don't buy flash carts for giggles....

I do, I've softmodded every machine I've owned that was capable of it (not that many, PS3 & Wii), jailbroken iPhones, rooted android phones and installed CFW.  Never bricked a thing.  It's really convenient, and far cheaper than buying stupid flash carts.  Alas, if a flash cart is all there is, I'm gonna buy one heh. 

I do hope something eventually comes out of NinjHax, but only time will tell.

put in an order for a gateway 3ds now that 9.2 is supported...  was $58, not too bad
