Fuck yes! im so going to this thing on acid, who knows with who tho

I remember reading that this movie was a big thing for trippers back in the day. Apparently people on lucy would sneak into the movie just to see that trippy spaceflight light scene

they show it in LA a lot
my brother lived out there and said he saw some dude freak the fuck out during the blast off at the end and started screaming



but i'd totally still go on acid too, first time i ever saw it was on mushrooms and it was a blast.

This made me look around my area for a showing and I came up with a showing for The Shining on Halloween and the night after. In a vintage art deco theater, too.

Thanks for the inspiration to look. Been on heavy Stanley Kubrick binge lately, so that should be a treat.

I got like an hour into that movie and it was just a bunch of monkeys wacking eachother off so I quit.

I'll have to pick up the book sometime, I feel like that will be a lot more engaging for me.
