INFOWARS, FOX, and COMEDY CENTRAL

Hey ya'll...

I'm above the US border, but not an eskimo lol
In Canada comedy central broadcasts as Comedy Network, and the Daily Show and the Colbert Report are on CBC or CBS not sure anymore but they also re-run on Comedy Network. I used to listen to those shows not because they made me laugh (they hardly did) but because it was one of the only ways I knew could get me an idea of what was happening south of the border. Then for some reason, I started wondering if FOX NEWS and COMEDY CENTRAL were partners... It just dawned on me that John Stewart often speaks like what he says is fact, when he is supposed to represent "fake news". Sounded fishy to me, like mind control... So did a bit of research, and confirmed what I thought, JP Morgan is a major investor in both Viacom and 21st Century Fox, basically, these corporations have the same agenda, to get Ratings, and to help Big Brother keep the Population from Riotting, keep them entertained, and give them the illusion that they know things and are educated.

Now INFOWARS used to look like a complete lunatic to me. But it's the only website that I find to consistently provide factual info about Ukraine. And now the US military has blocked it from it's intranet network, 700 000 people no longer have access to the site. To me, that means, hey finally news worth listening to? What do you think?

From my experience, Infowars has about as much shit as Fox News. I don't know about the Daily Show, but it's definitely liberal and Fox is conservative, so that really wouldn't make sense to me that they'd cooperate.

The Colbert Report emulates a Fox show.

Liberal and conservative politicians are bought and paid for by the same people who own all the major media outlets, natural resources, and means of production. Nothing new here.

Doesn't that sound convenient, when people definitly believe that the LEFT and the RIGHT are freely expressing their views in the Media. But what do you do when a "liberal" media network is owned by a corporation leaning all the way to the RIGHT???

You have an episode of the simpsons where Lisa clearly states this: She says, isn't weird that the simpsons play on FOX even though the characters keep saying FOX is evil? yes, Lisa in the Simpsons IS the John Stewart on TV, they are both "characters" sold to us as LEFTists, or LIBERAL, but don't forget who pays their salary... Giant Media Conglomerates, 7 media companies, which mostly are controlled by the same investors... :shrug:

That's exactly what I'm referring to, thanks
But unfortunalty not everyone is aware of this fact so they may be susceptible to mind control propaganda leaked from so-called "liberal" media outlets. Shows like "the Simpsons" or "The Daily Show" or "The Colbert Report"... These are all owned by the same people who pay both Liberal politicians and Conservative Politicians. I guess "Marge" would be their Conservative lol...

But on a serious note, I havn't watched enough infowars yet to know how defacto it is... Do you know of any media outlet that isn't as corrupted??

Jon Stewart isn't a character. He is a liberal dude with a TV show on a major media network. Just because one is on a media network doesn't mean that they are puppets. If you watched TDS for ten years straight, you would know that Stewart is genuine. Also, he is a comedian. He says all the time that his show isn't a news show.

I only watched him for 10 years straight because I thought exactly the same thing...
But dude, Viacom pays him, Viacom board is highly influenced by JP Morgan, JP Morgan has the same influence in FOX NEWS, I'm just saying... maybe in a way not everyone is ready to realize this, heck, when John Stewart can't be trusted anymore, NO FREAKING NEWS CAN... that's a very scary thought...

I agree that this right wing left wing bull shit excludes qualified third parties like libertarians from taking office, but I think people take it a step too far when they insinuate that it's part of a diabolical scheme. The left wing right wing bull shit is fueled by the media and made worse by the media, but that doesn't mean it is a conspiracy by the media. Investors might focus their attention on the two parties to exclude other parties' opinions from surfacing.

The Simpsons may talk shit about Fox, but they are one of the most popular shows of all time. Media is a business. Business is about making money. If Fox can show the Simpsons, then they must make a lot of money. It's no quiet joke that people talk shit about Fox.

No Viacom doesn't own Fox News. 21st century fox owns fox news, and viacom owns comedy central. But rich ass billionaires like JP Morgan own big parts of both of these conglomerates.

It's a technique to create centralized media monopoly, the government can stop them from making 7 companies into 1. But what the corporations do to go around that is they legally invest in all 7, they have board members working in more than 1 and influencing more than one conglomerate, and their best trick is the CEO switcherooos lol, like taking CC ceo and making him I don't know, Dreamworks CEO (for example).

In a sens, corporations know they profit more when they control every media outlet, that's how they can decide what the populations sees and influence their perspectives, now the government has rules against having all 7 conglomerates merging together, but do you think that the corporations don't have a plan B??? Now that would be foolish... No?

Just as foolish as thinking that when Steven Colbert roasts Doritos he's not actually being paid by Doritos for product placement... This stuff is entertainment business, not journalism, not news, who do you think gives them the script?!?!

The news national, local, and state is unreliable.
Every news anchor is a talking head reading from a script that is designed to draw in the most viewers and not stir up trouble with established beliefs.
It's all about getting more views for ad revenue.
When I watched it I even remember the local news going to some big supermarket store and talking about how you should stock up on winter supplies because there was a blizzard coming. They kept talking about the store and it's location it felt really gross like they got paid for it.

I found that INFOWARS was the only one who "follows up on the ukraine story"
I don't have a clue if the info is accurate.
But I'm pointing out that the news he comes out with is at least bringing up the subject.
OK well I googled his headline and saw there is http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/putin-orders-military-combat-alert-article-1.1838601 which correlates everything in his newest article about Ukraine.

I don't know if it's accurate.
But I've come to see that most lies in the media are lies by omission. Meaning they lie by simply NOT covering a subject (making it seem like the subject is non-existant). The only thing I know about INFOWARS so far is that if there is a headline in SYRIA or UKRAINE, they post it on their site... And to me that is a step better than local or state news... But I don't know if he's stupid or smart... Maybe the only good thing about him is he wants to make money and his niche is talking about what the major news networks avoid...

I COMPLETLY AGREE WITH YOU, they keep the LOGOs up on the screen for so long some times that you end up starring at a TradeMark for 5 minutes straight... That show must make a TON of CASH with paid advertisments camouflaged as news. It's like in the Simpsons episode called April Fools. Homer is on the couch, then a government sponsored add comes on saying "beer is bad for your liver" and then Homer goes like "beeeeeeeeer! then goes up and gets a cold one from the fridge"

Any news outlet owned by a for profit corporation or any organization is going to push an agenda. Not so much that everything in the news is a flat out lie, but they will all put their own spin on the stories they publish. I'm not 100% sure there are any reliable news sources.

john stewart is a pundit who pokes holes in other channels
colbert takes other channels and acts like the people on them for american entertainment

neither are standing in a room when a vice president or gov't official gets off a plane to give us the news

those are what the major networks are for...
