It's not just sucking it up for a few weeks, it's signing over my freedom for years. They tell me to jump I have to ask how high. They tell me I'm going overseas to shoot at people that I have no problem with, and I have to do it. I don't get to decide anything. At least at the soulless retail job I can walk out anytime I want to without getting thrown into prison or something. Joining the military is one of the few things that are absolutely out of the question for me. I wouldn't be opposed to going to get a degree but I have no way to pay for it and there are limitations to what I can do TO afford it. It's just not feasible in my position.
