Endure said: Porn is totally addicting to some people.
The notion entertained here is the many routes escalation can take.
one guy might escalate into scat porn (2girls 1 cup)
one guy might escalate into transvestite porn
one guy might escalate into transvestite porn then escalate to scat and then escalated into murder porn like the ones in some adult content Comic books. this is the ultimate taboo. Normally people dont make the jump to replicating these events in real life. Ted Bundy made that jump.
Multiple biographers,[315][316][317] researchers,[318] and other observers[319] have concluded that Bundy's sudden condemnation of pornography was one last manipulative attempt to shift blame by catering to Dobson's agenda as a longtime anti-pornography advocate, telling him precisely what he wanted to hear.[320] While he asserted in the Dobson interview that detective magazines and other reading material had "corrupted" him and "fueled [his] fantasies ... to the point of becoming a serial killer", in a 1977 letter to Ann Rule he wrote, "Who in the world reads these publications? ... I have never purchased such a magazine, and [on only] two or three occasions have I ever picked one up."[321] He told Michaud and Aynsworth in 1980, and Hagmaier the night before he spoke to Dobson, that pornography played a negligible role in his development as a serial killer.[322] "The problem wasn't pornography," wrote Dekle. "The problem was Bundy."[323] Hagmaier and Bundy during their final Death Row interview on January 23, 1989
Rule and Aynesworth both noted that, for Bundy, the fault always lay with someone or something else. While he eventually confessed to 30 murders, he never accepted responsibility for any of them, even when offered that opportunity prior to the Chi Omega trial—which would have averted the death penalty.[324] He deflected blame onto a wide variety of scapegoats, including his abusive grandfather, the absence of his biological father, the concealment of his true parentage, alcohol, the media, the police (whom he accused of planting evidence), "society" in general, violence on television, and ultimately, true crime periodicals and pornography.[325] He blamed television programming—which he watched mostly on sets that he had stolen—for "brainwashing" him into stealing credit cards.[326] On at least one occasion he even tried to blame his victims: "I have known people who ... radiate vulnerability," he wrote in a 1977 letter to Kloepfer. "Their facial expressions say 'I am afraid of you'. These people invite abuse ... By expecting to be hurt, do they subtly encourage it?"[327] (compiled from multiple sources )
speculation by people without genuine understanding is all im reading.
are you telling me people dont get depressed and then receive dopamine boosts via masturbation, or said drug. and that it is not possible to slowly escalate to more forms of porn via sexual curiousity, and that maybe, just maybe something 'ticked' inside of him that would not of ticked if porn and hard porn was not introduced? newsflash, gore porn is Very common to some people, just like cigarettes are common to some people and for some its absolutely foreign. most notably you will find tons of these gore porn genres in a comic book store.
Also, Bundy once again states over and over he had a great family growing up.
i just do not believe at the brink of insanity before death he is trying to blameshift, and give a lesson on porn, (good for the public) it sounds like the Urges slowly went away like many drug addictions when forced away from the drugs, via jail in this case, and thus giving him time to figure shit out himself. i do not believd he is a zombie killing machine born to kill No matter what his life was like. i believe if you had a private conversation with him as a fellow killer for example, that no one knew about, in his comfort zone, he would of said his belief on porn exactly the same. Notice he was not agreeing with exactly everything the interviewer was saying regarding porn. he expressed his Opinion, and now while the interviewer for this moment in time had similiar notions on the mix of humans and porn through questions(in other words, going along with Bundys proposal over porn being harmful), Bundy did not agree with everything and offered his own view and account of things.
by all means, he is a piece of shit for what he did.
if you knew something about shame and regret and humility over something you may have done, that may even be minor and nothing to someone else, it has a profound ability to grasp you and bring you deeper and deeper if you properly handled. this, imo, was his porn use and ability to become sexually excited to gore porn.
