Introduction
    #1944068 -

I am new to the site (today), but have been an avid reader for the past month or so, and first off wanted to say hello to all members and readers. Second off I went out to day to some local spots and found an inactive mushroom. Here is a pic of it and the healthy mycelium culture under the top layer of leaves. I'm not sure of the name off the top of my head, if someone can id it that would be cool. There was atlease a dozen or more. I am getting a field guide asap. Anyways just basically wanted to say hello for the most part.

Hi,
OTD and the Pub are for introductions..
Also do yourself a favor and read the Rules and FAQ at the top of this forum, and all of them for that matter.

Those two things will get you far on this site.
Enjoy your stay!!

It?s a Ramaria species. Possibly(not sure at all) a Ramaria aurea.
Some species of this genus are poisonous.

That looks like Ramaria stricta, Straight-Branched Coral.

Here are some I found in my area.
