Is the Iranian Nuke Deal Going to Work?

Well?  President Obama claims he has a deal with the Iranians that will curb the nuclear weapons ambitions.  The Iranians are saying the terms of the agreement espoused by the President are not the terms they agreed to in writing.  Who is lying?  Will we ever know?  How will all of this turn out?  Will anyone stop Iran from becoming one of the nations having nuclear weapons?  Will this put them on the road to stopping their program - in an irreversible manner?

In the end, if the Iranians want the bomb, we are handing it to them to be sure.  This agreement allows them to continue enriching uranium and does nothing about their plutonium reactor and heavy water facilities.

What do you think?

Nope its just a matter of time until Nukes fall into the hands of extremists willing to use them, who do just that. I'm fairly certain this will happen in my lifetime, I'll say 15-20 years from now.

Unless the Iranians believe they're subhuman there's no reason to accept any deal that says America should be allowed to have this weapon and you shouldn't. Therefore, the only reason for them NOT to build a nuke is because they don't want one. Our rules are and should be meaningless to them.

But in all seriousness, I highly doubt this deal will work. The middle east hates us for being terrorists, which is accurate, they just don't show any sign of approval of the U.S. because this place is the cancer of the planet. Why are we negotiating with terrorists? because we are terrorists ourselves, and competition is bad.

At some point, the Western powers might need the excuse to start a war with Iran, what better excuse do they have than having them "break" the agreement they had with the West.

The US can now always say they exhausted all the means possible, and the Iranians still were not cooperative.

Why doesn't anyone care that Pakistan has nuclear weapons?  This extremist Islamic country should be of major concern if we were to follow the line of reasoning that the US uses with Iran, let me guess?  Pakistan doesn't have a top 5 global supply of oil and gas reserves like Iran has, funny how that works.

Basically once a country has nuke other countries are a lot more hesitant to fuck with them. From their perspective the US does represent a credible threat, and they sure as fuck can't muster the resources to fight them effectively with conventional warfare. Of course, they probably would be less of a target for a US invasion if they weren't messing around with this stuff in the first place.

The only thing keeping the Pakistanis from giving a bomb to Al-Qaeda is their insane fear of India, so all their weapons are pointed that way and spoken for I guess.  :shrug:

It's pretty hard to enrich... terrorist are more then likely to get creative then use something that powerful. They could collect all the waste they wanted and it wouldn't do shit. I don't know if a nuke would ever be used again.:shrug:

Who gives a shit if Iran has nukes?

Because they might launch a knee-jerk attack? See: Kashmir.

Because they might fall into the hands of terrorists? See: Former Soviet States, Pakistan.
