Say someone wanted to send a package anon and not have stamps all over said package, anyone have any ideas as to using prepaid postage or print at home postage while still remaining incognito? Stamps.com and the such all require name, addy, and a valid credit card.
The credit card is the killer here and I hear rumor that they will not accept burner/pre paid cards.

Basically what I'm asking is how would a vendor of silk road or BMR or equivalent go about procuring postage for a decent amount of packages.

Basically stamp it with prepaid postage and put it in a mailbox somewhere around the city. Or send it from the post office with a good alaby of its contents

That's the issue. How do you get prepaid postage without linking it back to you?

Try paying in cash? I mean, I've never done it before, but I'm quiet sure they dont take your info when buYing stamps. I remember seeing a commercial for first class shipping any weight as long as it fits in the box it ship for a flat rate. Maybe that? I'm really confused by why you think they take your info just to buy prepaid shipping. I might be missing something, but I'm sure you can figure it out. Wouldn't hurt to ask the local post office would it? You don't have to tell them your planning on shiPping illicit goods.

If you're doing this in the USA, go to the post office and use the automated postage center. It takes several types of gift cards. Wear a ball cap and sunglasses, because it will snap a picture of you. Worst case, your package of LSD or whatever gets intercepted, and the only thing they have to go on is a fuzzy image of a dude in a cap and glasses. It'll be written off, and you'll be safe. If you intend to do this frequently, disregard, as you'll likely eventually build a pattern sufficient to get busted if they decide you need brought to justice. There are other methods to use in that case, but requires more work.

Another idea.. prepaid greendot cards can be registered under fake names. They don't check up on anything. Its just an automated machine you put your info on. You can use a name on your address from a previous resident of your address that you still get mail from and bam! Greendot visa debit card without your name on it that you can put money on and spend. Plausible deniability here

The prepaid card is the best option but again I'm stumped as to how to continually buy prepaid postage with it. Guess I'll just have to see if the website will actually accept the prepaid card. Though I've been told it won't.

Just buy stamps with cash, and mail the packages from mail boxes around town.
As long as the packages are light (15 oz limit these days I think), you do not need to go into the post office with anything illegal.
Obviously don't lick the stamps, use water and a sponge.

I think you would probably catch some sort of identity theft charges on top of everything else if you got caught using someone else's semi-legit info.

Stamps. You can buy them at places other than the USPS (CVS, Walgreens, etc)
