Great question OP.

Fact is, it kinda depends on the forum. Low traffic forums like The Politics forum give more power to the poster. High traffic forums like this one can sway the power towards the Staff (Hell, we all moderate it).

There is a slight democratic aspect to all this too, if the masses think something is good or bad, it often sways the Staff's response.

But let's not mince words, Pris has a real life now. He can't watch this forum 24-7 like we all are used to, so we have a bunch of Mods, myself included, who are covering his absence. Frankly, we have less experience. We are gonna fuck up from time to time. We all take Pris for granted.

When we don't fuck up we still will do things differently. Pris is unique.  We can't do things the way he does.

So, things are gonna' change a bit in here. Not drastically. You are just gonna' see moderation from some newish faces, because this place does need moderation. Want less moderation? Try OTD.

If you want clarification for our actions, contact us via PM. If you get no reply, contact someone else. Staffers can't always do the popular thing, we do want to do things that make sense to most people though, at the very least so y'all can know how to avoid being banned and shit if you so choose.
