Breakfast for Dinner Thread

This evening my plans fell apart and I didn't know what to do with myself. Then it became obvious. I must cook breakfast. Moments later there are eggs snapping, bacon sizzling, and OJ splashing!!

Sitting down now and having a ball. Reading the Sunday newspaper. Life is so simple and so good.


How is your Sunday evening going?

Doing well my friend...just started working on some cultivation...thats my plan for tonight.

Studying mycology since: August, 2008

A typical monotub grow of a multi-spore rye spawn with some Golden Teachers: inoculated on day one and saw first signs of growth on day 5. On day 17 jars were 15% - 30% colonized so shook em up. On day 25 I mixed the spawn and sub in the monotub and on day 50 harvested the first flush. Just under 4 ounces dry in 1 month 19 days!

It is an excellent little meal. Easily prepared and easily consumed. Hope the cultivation goes well for you. It has interested me recently. One of these days I will make it happen.

2 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, 2 toast, coffee or juice, fruits and maybe a bowl of cereal.



That is my breakfast usually.  :tongue2:

Breakfast is a fine dinner. A couple eggs, bacon, and some sausage, all on 2 slices of toast for a sandwich. Perfect meal.

I tend to eat like a hobbit. Breakfast,elevensies, lunch  second breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner, supper, you get the idea.

Breakfast for dinner is probably my favorite dinner...

Get a bagel, fried egg and three pieces of bacon and a little mayo..bomb

Hardly a traditional American breakfast, but I'm making some lemon dill salmon.  Got it marinating right now, gonna bake it up in an hour or two here.  Nice bread with a little vinaigrette to dip it in.  Should be delicious!
