Where to trip on Long Island

Can anybody reccomend a place to trip on Long Island? I was thinking one of those retreat places with cabins (like in The Ring)



How much do those places usually charge? I really need to get the fuck away from home life for at least two days for my first psychedelic experience, and I really need a psychedelic experience  :smile:

Any suggestions/information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, I've always loved tripping at the beach.. hopefully a house is nearby to chill at too..  my favorite trip so far has been at my friends beach house in late summer when all the bennies go home :smirk: And it's quiet again

I thought about the beach - it's too bright and too open (I kinda wanna do this during the daytime).

The beach at Ronkonkoma, that's where I rolled with my girlfriend and it was fantastic.

This is obviously an old post but there must be some Long Islanders still roaming these parts. I'm going to make my next trip be in the Arboretum which is a HUGE preserve on the Northshore, free to get in and its open 9-5 I'll just have to find a way home!

you take the train into the city, then just walk around below the park.

arboretum is nice, havent been there but definitely a place i plan on tripping at in the near future, im from the southshore myself though.

arboretum is def nice
and there are a number of them on the island actualy
there is a realy nice one on the south shore around oakdale that ive been to a few times
i actualy have a spot near where i grew up where ive tripped a bunch
its a local cemetary
but, there are a number of parks as well
southaven is a good one that comes ot mind
and then there is always out east like the trails near montauk and such
proly a bunch more spots i cant think of off the top of my head
rocky point bluffs is another one

Muttontown preserve is a superb place. 550 acres of preserves: tall grass fields, ponds,even areas with ruins (huge stone stair case, columns, and this bunker in the middle of the woods), lots of different foliage, very easy to get lost, during the summer many different types of mushrooms you almost never encounter other people either. If you dont have a ride it is a mile from the syosset train station

Hm I'll have to look into that place thats even closer to me! I've yet to go to any of these places, but I'm definitely going to be soon! This one sounds awesome though good looks man!

He's got bigger worries now.  they've set up roadblocks and checkpoints leading into The City and will be checking for illegal styrofoam and sugary drinks by doing cavity searches.

I gather your talking lake ronkonoma. As much as its awesome. I wouldn't really consider that a beach. Party pooper I know but with the plethora of actual ocean beaches on Long Island. We tend not to call the shore of lakes and ponds beaches round here. Lol. Nice place tho.
