In the ash of the World Trade Center demolition was burned thermate ash as well as unburned chips of thermate. It was the explosive used to demolish the World Trade Center towers, if not building 7 as well.

One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The red material contains grains approximately 100 nm across which are largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present. The iron oxide and aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms occurring at approximately 430 °C, far below the normal ignition temperature for conventional thermite. Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.

I think there's a lot of sketchy dealings regarding 9/11. The article you linked is one of them, WTC 7 is another huge red flag, etc. However, this is all just evidence that there's more going on than we know and I think it's impossible to come to a real conclusion with all this information. We can't just say "the government did it," and especially not the traditional group of people we mean when we say the government, including congress, GWB, etc, without some real evidence to suggest that. None of the sketchy facts revolving around the incident are immediately suggestive of government involvement. I think if you look at who benefited from the war we got ourselves in after the event, Dick Cheney and his oil buddies, maybe we can get an idea of who may have been involved but even then it's all just speculation and jumping to the conclusion that you know that a certain group of people was involved is pretty arrogant and ignorant, IMO. :shrug:

After reading through the full article that you quoted, http://www.american-buddha.com/911.activethermitedisc911catashielsharrit.htm, I'm not entirely convinced that the research group can be certain that the material was indeed thermite or that the thermite was used as an explosive rather than a product of the buildings components and the plane's components coming together in an incredibly high energy environment. Even if the material was indeed thermite, those who supposedly used the material as an explosive should have known that the residue would be spread all over NYC and easily studied by scientists so why would they knowingly use something that could expose them so easily? Even if it were proven, without a doubt, to be thermite residue there are still so many questions surrounding it that that piece of evidence alone does not immediately imply government involvement. :shrug:

Also, those two pictures only show that the building, under incredible stress, started collapsing below the initial rush. I think that's to be expected in a situation where an airplane has crashed into a huge building and is causing massive heat and stress to the structure, and it's not definitely indicative that any "charges" were used at all.

I just did a little more research on WTC 7 and it's not nearly as sketchy as the conspiracy theorists would like to suggest. Anyone whose interested check ouy 1:32 in this video and the NIST report on the structural collapse due to thermal expansion caused by the raging 10 floor fires. It doesn't seem like a demolition to me, in the clip at 1:32 in this video you can see that the black things on the roof fall into the structure before it collapses, which backs up the NISTs report that progressive structural damage from thermal expansion of steel was responsible for the collapse.

The building, and many others like it, was designed to withhold gravitational stress, not thermal expansion.

well anyway I thought it was a pretty entertaining movie even though its probably not that accurate...haha the torture scenes seemed very relaxed though to how I would think it really is....you can tell they toned it down for the cinema.

And ghost I meant like the intelligence gathering aspect of it to what it takes to find someone like that not like the actual ground combat.

Why did BBC report that Building 7 fell 20 minutes before it fell? Why did





WTC 7 is about to "blow up"


BTW, Building 7 was not even mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report. And 6 of the ten of the 9/11 commissioners have since said on record that their report was a "whitewash".

So you're using the fact that people knew it was going to collapse or "blow up" beforehand as evidence that it was a demolition? The fireman in the building I posted said it was going to "come down" too but that doesn't mean he had some secret knowledge or knew it was going to "be demolished." In hindsight, I think that it was obvious that the building wasn't going to withstand hours and hours of raging flames spanning at least 10 floors with a not fully automatic sprinkler system.

You're being misleading, the government didn't ignore that WTC 7 collapsed, I would assume it wasn't in the specific report you mention because the report was about the actual attacks not each and every instance of related damage (which would include a huge number of buildings in the area surrounding the WTCs.) FEMA gave a report about it and so did the NIST, no one is ignoring that the building fell. :shrug:
