Timewave Zero!

Well today's the day. Apparently at 7:17 am GMT time the time wave ends. Although this particular day probably has no significance, I think the overall time we are living in right now does.

Terence made some very keen observations that really should cause you to understand where he was coming from. In about the last 100 years we have developed movies, automobiles, airplanes, internet, DNA sequencing, space travel, cloning, cell phones, etc. The list is endless.

Out of ALL of human history this all occurred in about one century! Wrap your head around that. Technology is exponentially increasing. The cell phone in your pocket today is a million times cheaper, a million times smaller, and a thousand times more powerful than the $60 million super computer 40 years ago. Pretty soon we will have weapons that make the atom bomb look like a dynamite stick.

We have people waking up to the corruption of governments thanks to the internet. We have movements like TZM, Occupy, Anonymous, TVP, etc all doing their part to raise awareness.

As Terence put it "not registering radical change seems to be a precondition of existing in radical change". I think whether it happens tomorrow, or next year, or in 5 years. I think we will be seeing dramatic change in this world. At least I certainly hope so :smile:

There seems to be a lot of information discussing timewave zero on the internet, but I can't find anything about how it was created. McKenna came up with it from the I-Ching, but that's all I can find.

Also, if some one could explain to me what "novelty" means as everyone keeps referring to it, that would be nice.

The timewave itself is a combination of numerology and mathematics. Novelty, can be thought of as newness, density of complexification, and dynamic change as opposed to static habituation. The timewave itself is a combination of numerology and mathematics.
