Ha, thanks.

It was originally about losing weight while keeping my muscle. I always worked out so I developed muscles when I was eating in excess. A friend told me keto helps you keep your muscles so I thought I'd give it a go. I then realized that my thoughts were much better in ketosis. There wasn't this constant feeling of dread bearing down on me.

Now, I hope for it to be permanent. I just ended up in ketoacidosis, so my blood was a poison a few days ago. It's really really rare for non-diabetics in keto to enter that state so I wasn't worried about it until it happened. I'm hoping to buy a blood meter to test my ketones and keep them in check. That way I won't have to worry about another carb binge to keep myself alive.

And I'm still losing and very very quickly. It's a good feeling. I'm not far from the lowest weight I'd like to be.

Thanks for the advice. I can't eat carbs though.

And I feel you two on the waiting. The ~two weeks after you place an order are the most excruciatingly slow weeks of your life. I try to think of it as some sort of drug foreplay though. The waiting makes it that much better when you finally get it.

but good luck on that darwin, i dont know most of what you said lol im not a very healthy person right now, but i should probably lose some weight so my body doesnt hate me as much:shrug:

Mornin pub. I'm just chillin getting ready for work. Got up at 6 to go to the zen center for meditation. I have't been as consistent in this lately as I would like to be, but sometimes this time of year gets busy with lots of other things.

Started my new batch of cactus brew. Got it on the stove now. My roomie wants to try it, so I'm going to introduce him to it when he's on his winter break.

Other than that, just chillin doing some laundry and dishes and gonna smoke some pot in a bit. It's nice getting up early when I don't have to be to work till 945. I find I'm much more productive in the mornings than I am in the evenings. In the evening after work I just wanna eat, get stoned and socialize. Usually in that order.
