Congrats to the Buckeyes. And this is coming from a Michigan fan. Undefeated first year under Urban and they'll be even better next year. Scary. Tell you what, I am hoping somehow someway they can steal away the AP National Title from Alabama if Bama wins it all. I mean it's possible...highly unlikely, but possible. I mean after all Alabama would end with a loss on their schedule and OSU wouldn't, and Bama has backed in to the title game for 2 years in a row now. Last year they needed help...and got it. Otherwise they wouldn't have got in. This year they needed help...and they got it again.

Maybe some AP voters will be inclined to give the Bucks their votes.

That's his point. The AP isn't the BCS, they can give their title to whoever the fuck they vote for. I'm pretty positive enough voters won't vote us number 1 though because of the sanctions.

I doubt the situation has presented itself in the short history of the BCS. Back when there was the shit with three undefeated teams the AP might have given the one (Auburn?) that got the shaft a title, but I really don't remember.

E: Nope, they came in second in the AP that year.
