I know there is a sub-forum-thread for this kind of thing, but it doesn't get the traffic the pub does. So I'm posting it here.

Post a really good prose. I need some inspiration, and want to see your guys writing style's and see if you can bang out some decent prose.

I guess I'll start it off, all make it up as I go along.

As I walk alone this twisted path I see the hindsight of what is left.
This monstrous tornado that destroyed my steps, as I tip-toe, with my
breathe on hold. It's a long dirt road, and it goes to a place I just don't know.
Holding the hand of a small child, we lead together, light footsteps floating
along the beaten path.
It's a small story and the ending is unknown, but together we walk this road,
holding hands, and throwing the tornados to the wind.

( Keep in mind, Prose are a form of poetry, it's not exactly supposed to rhyme, as it is to tell a story. )
