hydrocodone syrup for a cough

So gonna head to the doc today, was sick about a week ago and then it receded to a slightly congested nose and slight cough.

Now I'm coughing my lungs out and haven't been able to sleep for the past 2-3 days, unless of course I'm going to pop some benzo's which I'd rather use for recreation.

For some reason the docs at my clinic are assholes about prescribing cough syrup, because I usually have a lung infection and they'd rather me cough that shit up instead of allowing me to sleep :/ and when they do scribe it, it's shitty codeine with guafenasin.

The Doc I have an appt with is a pretty chill dude though so I'll just tell him I need something for for the cough and to sleep and that I've tried everything else thats OTC.

I was wondering if I told him the syrup with guafenasin makes nauseous, so maybe I'll get codeine with promethazine.  Was wondering, if possible, I told him I've been perscribed t3's before(which I haven't) that the codeine made me nauseous so maybe he'll bump it up to hydrocodone syrup. Probably pushing it a little far but worth a shot?:shrug:

last time i had a cough i told the doc that cheratussin (codeine and guafenasin) made me nauseous and he gave me codeine + promethazine


but i guess it depends on the doctor, i go to my university clinic so some are really stingy about prescribing anything thats slightly abusable

for a bad cough that shit doesnt really work nearly as well as some codeine syrup...

plus codeine feels real nice like

Trust me, I've been taking what I can, those  don't suppress the cough very well, and there is definitely not a high enough dosage of antihistamines in them to put me to sleep. Even if their were, antihistamines make me drowsy as fuck in the morning.

Codeine usually suppress the cough well, and will sure as hell put me to sleep if I take enough of it.
