Combining Oxycodone and Amphetamines

I took 40mg of Amphetamine salts eight hours ago.  Would it be safe to take oxycodone now?

No it isn't reasonably safe, not at all. Not like it's GOING to kill you without a doubt or anything, but it's very possible that your breathing will be suppressed too much during it. It's not good for you if that's what you're asking.

If I was concerned about the overall health of the issue do you think I'd be recreationally  using amphetamine salts and oxycodone?  I just want to make sure this isn't blatantly stupid.

You two don't make sense and do a horrible job representing the community.  This website was created to share information regarding such matters.  Why would you ban an individual for using the site for it's purpose.  Seems close-minded and childish.  I apologize for mentioning dosage, but I edited my post to exclude that.

Just watch the dosage. Since you are on amphetamines, the oxycodone will hit you faster. Watch your breathing and be careful.

Yes, it's blatantly stupid to be mixing these drugs. I've done it before as well. It was fun.

I wouldn't take it too personally if I were you. Those are not very 'recreational' drug habits, they sound more like 'addict'. There is a difference..

I'm taking a light dose of oxycodone, it's been almost nine hours since I began feeling the effects of the amphetamine.  How careful should I be, do you personally think the risk level is high enough that it isn't worth it. 

Fuck, I gotta find withoutawire.

My friend, I am a psychonaut, I do not indulge in Amphetamines and Opiates at all.  This would be my third Opiate experience and my fourth Amphetamine experience.  A good friend is enticing me give it a try.  My drug use aside from psychedelics is purely recreational. 

And aside from that, I doubt an addict would take much concern towards combining substances and just get high.

I'd do it. Nobody is going to tell you that it's a good idea though. You need to decide for yourself.

Yes, the risk level is high enough that it is not worth mixing the two together. You risk heart failure, suffocation and seizures when you mix these drugs, much more so than just taking them separately. Opiates and amphetamines should never be mixed and are an unsafe combo.

I've done it before on low dosages, and it felt good, but I could not breathe very much and any more could have been very unsafe.

On a serious note:

You're taking threshold doses, just fucking do it, it won't hurt you

I have a prescription for adderall, and would take 40-60mg's a day, and every once in a while throw in 80mg of oxycodone for good measure
