She's throwing you a shit-test, tryin to make you jealous. You could A) respond in the most non-jealous manner possible (sincerely ask her if she had a good time, etc) because this will screw up a woman's non-logic circuits and make you more interesting to her, or B) don't talk to her for the next 3 months. Both are viable but I think you'd be better off with B. Either way she'll become slightly interested in you again, but it seems like you're not interested in her anymore, so I guess it doesn't even matter does it? Just my opinion.

I'm in a similar situation you are, in fact.  As I type this, my girlfriend is at an ex-boyfriend's house, drinking with him about an hour out of town.  Likely, they will sleep together.  The difference is that when her and I entered into a relationship, it was understood that these things would happen.  We established first and foremost a policy of upfront honesty.  Honesty about our lives and lifestyles, about our feelings and emotions.  It was agreed that clinging was not acceptable.

And to be honest, it bothers me quite a lot that this is happening.  It is something I'm struggling to cope with.  What makes it so managable though, is that I know I've not been deceived in any way.  In the end, it's not something I should be concerned about.  Besides, I have the same freedoms she does :smile:

What happens happens.

Don't conclude immediately that they slept together, though.  Verify that first.

Ask her for honesty.  Establish a non-threatening pretense.

If she lies to you, forget about it.  You don't want her.
