this thread is quite misleading, they were barred entry, not
arrested. they're safe and sound in england now. if the NDAA
can do this to americans then that means I no longer have to
call a cab when I'm drunk

not sure what your idea of a vacation is but mine isnt 12 hours in
a holding cell. maybe for their next adventure tehey can tweet about
smuggling drugs in their asses into thailand. I wonder how that's gonna
pan out for them

Seriously? I'm bloody surprised that's an  arrestible offence.. I make jokes via facebook regularly about sensitive issues. I've even written written in arabic ''Mohammed my brother, it all goes down tonight.. the Americans won't know what hit them.. Make sure you have all the supplies.'' Pretty scary to think one could get extradited, arrested and anally raped for something as innocuous as that.

I guess if I wanted to get arrested though, I'd do a crime via joke. I'd look for the most scared/paranoid looking person on the plane and sit next to them. After we've taken off I'd pull out my laptop and I'd put on a clock counting down 2 minutes making sure the paranoid person would see my screen. I'd then close my eyes and start praying in arabic.. The lulz would definitely ensue.
