I don't get no explosive diarrhea from it.  I know as a liquid form it's a laxative, perhaps you could search for an alternative, I just get that because I read it's one of the most bio-available sources.

And if you're pissing out your ass after a night of too much drinking, you're probably pissing out a lot more than high-quality h20. More like toxic waste that needs to GTFO ASAP.

PS:  I'm a terrible drinker, I do my pre-pass out health guard routine regularly, and the only thing that was of any concern to my doctor from my recent physical was my glucose level, and I drank a glass of orange juice an hour before my blood was drawn (didn't know I was supposed to fast)

So BLEH.

There is no immediate cure for a hangover, but as spoken of above there are vitamins that you should take to replenish your body of the vitamins you lost.

+ water

Sadly, I keep drinking for weeks on end until I hit a crash point. I use B vitamins and vitamin c for nutrients.

It takes a couple days to recover from binges like that. No matter what you take or do you will feel like shit. I know I'm going out of the norm for most people, but in my experience there is no magical cure for a massive hangover.

Sleep, vitamins, water... only thing that will help, but it can take a while depending on how much you have been drinking

What you do is, of course drink water before you sleep while your drinking.

When you wake up take one shot, and chug a bunch water. Continue to drink water, and by the time the effects of takeing that one shot are gone, you wont have the hangover.

After a night of drinking, you've probably damaged the mucus lining of the stomach wall. Taking ibuprofen is not a good idea, as it is associated with stomach issues (particularly ulcers). Sadly, most painkillers don't go well with alcohol, although for different reasons. Rehydrate, and if anything, take a moderate dose of paracetamol; incidental combination of a moderate dose of paracetamol and alcohol is extremely unlikely to result in liver damage, and I'd personally rather accept that risk over the alcohol/ibuprofen combination which is more likely to do damage in the short term.

Sorry for starting a silly topic, but I guessed that many of us suffer from some sort of hangover... I thought it would be nice if some would share their best elixirs for getting the hangover out.

The best food to help a hangover has been mentioned a few times already in this thread (combined with other things).

Bacon has been scientifically proven to be the best hangover food.

It contains most of the nutrients that alcohol takes out of you.

the only sure way not to get a hangover, i mean besides not drinking, is to NOT go to sleep.

if you wait out the drunkennesss then you will feel alot better than if you had gone to sleep.

and then go to sleep

Doesn't make any sense, you crazy:crazy2:

Hangovers are gonna happen either way if you are binge drinking. If you don't go to sleep you will just end up feeling 10 times worse. You gotta sleep sometime, and the sooner the better.

I also recommend filling up a couple 16 oz water bottles to guzzle down when you randomly wake up thirsty.

I'm just assuming that the OP is talking about a heavy night of partying. Some people have problems with drinking small amounts of alcohol and being hungover, but I'm sure this is not what he meant
