Started playing Starcraft 2 for the first time

I don't know how far I am, but by the units I have got, I guess about half way.

I must say, apart from the gameplay I'm DAMNED impressed with how they have improved and expanded the storyline.

I really really like tall the walking about the ship talking to people and the way you can choose the order to play the missions.

It is very rare that I enjoy the storyline of a game so much. In fact I'm nearly enjoying the storytelling more than the game. I keep saying: "one more level, I really want to know what happens next".

What an enjoyable waste of a saturday :lol:

Its great game and they are already releasing info on the new expansion(zerg). SCII is a truly awesome game, defiantly one of my top 5 RTS games.

It's not top 5 - I think almost anyone would agree it's the best RTS out there, hands down.  Although the single player is really quite shitty - anyone who really play SC2 knows it's all about the multiplayer.

I was severely disappointed by SC2's storyline. I thought it was completely shallow and empty compared to the original Starcraft and Starcraft:Broodwar. I swear that shit was made to cater to 12 year olds. Fuck Activision. Also, Bnet 2.0 sucks balls. I bet you any money they're going to ruin Diablo3's storyline too.

Starcraft is amazing.  The 1player is decent I suppose (i don't like 1player anything), but their online multiplayer is great.

Get online man!  Also -- be sure to make use of hotkeys (keyboard) for quick unit selection/control.

For me, the case of Brood War, Battle.net WAS the game and the single player and story were a bonus. Don't get me wrong, it would be a damn shame if they tarnished Samir Duran's coolness in some way but I only found out about Duran after playing lots of multiplayer.

I'm online now, doing the 'practice' games first though. :bongload:

And youknow, I've only played the first two missions for single player but I really like it so far.

starcraft 2 is fuckin ruining me.  I was pretty close to hitting diamond last week.  Solidly in platinum league still though.

Its really challenging i find.  Frustratingly so.

Opinion so have mine aswell; someone hasn't experienced the total war series it seems :wink:

I'm too low on funds to buy SC2 right now but I was such an addict to version one... I should get on with it.
