Who said he's innocent?  Like I said in my first post, how bad I'd feel about it would depend on what kind of person the cop was.  My life is way more important than some douche bag who spends his life fucking people over.  And if I was being sent to prison for a crime I didn't commit, then there is no way in hell that I'd go to prison just because he may be an "innocent guy".  In that case, I'd be innocent too... you gotta look out for #1.

If it kept me out of PRISON, yes, especially if I was innocent myself.  But how would I know if he's an innocent guy or not?  These kinds of things are a gamble, you can't know every single factor in advance.

Why are you assuming the cop is innocent?  Most cops aren't, I'm willing to take my chances if it means I don't get repeatedly raped by a bunch of black people.  Not to mention I myself can be KILLED by those same black people.  And all that for a crime that I may have not even committed?
