The stupidity of the Shroomery amazes me

The vast majority of Shroomerites are fucking stupid. 

You know something is seriously wrong when people give this fucking idiot :ancientaliens: gets more credit than someone like Michio Kaku or Carl Sagan.

It's no wonder so many pubbers don't do anything with their life except sit on the computer and post on the Shrooomery all day long.  The other idiots validate them and they're too dumb to do something like get a job or go to college and actually learn something useful.

Yeahhhhhhh, but many of those pubbers actually do go to school or whatever.

I just don't participate a lot in the pub or other "serious" forums because people just want to mostly argue or try to sound smart and informed by pushing a narrow view on any given subject.

I'd rather hatefuck hoes and write the most beautiful and striking poetry.

it's majority of society that is stupid, not just the shroomery. thus shroomery members are drawn from society at large, shroomery is by inference and assosciation also stupid.

I think some members are more susceptible to alternative theories that aren't well supported either due to social isolation or poor education or more likely a lack of vigilance. I figure a lot of people on here are emotionally damaged some how and are using drugs to deal with it, whether positively or negatively.

I think the ancient aliens stuff is entertaining whether or not it's true. I think it's clear that a lot of the stuff surrounding aliens is true. They are coming here, they are keeping their distance for the most part, and who knows what's true or not?

I agree that Tsoukalos is ridiculous. But the shit about the shroomery that I find dumb is that people are too pro drug sometimes. A news article appears and our reflex is to criticize it if it says anything negative. Some of the negative stuff is true, it's just out of context.

Or...maybe we use our smart phone or tablet PC in an effort to fit a social life amid work, school, and family. Some of us can hang out on the Shroomery, while working, between classes, or while waiting for the family to do their thing.

Michio Kaku is a Star Trek nerd who gets money and recognition to spew a bunch of technocratic jargon that's equally as outlandish as anything Giorgio says. And Sagan is just another great thinker who limited himself by buying into scientism.
