Striknine content of mushrooms

I just talked to a mushroom elder, and he told me that Psilocybin mushrooms contain striknine., and the concentrations can vary dramatically, from sample to sample..I cant seem to find any info on this subject, however..Has anyone heard about this?

It's an urban myth - usually related to LSD. Someone silly has obviously heard that and then thought "I know what, i'll say it's in mushrooms too".

Why don't you take a look this site.

"Strychnine is an alkaloid obtained from the seeds of Strychnos or Loganiaceae:? Strychnos nux vomica Linnaeus Strychnos ignatii.? It is a colourless, crystalline powder and it has a bitter, metallic taste when dissolved in water, however it is odourless."

Strychnine is not found in any mushroom. It is not used in or a product of LSD manufacture and it is not in peyote (even in the fuzzy part).
