It's time, Seattle-ites.

The greatest festival on planet earth begins tomorrow. The festivities...oh, I can not wait.



For those of you who don't know, hempfest is a 3 day festival that happens every year in august. It is dedicated to weed, and weed only. Thousands of people gather and smoke weed freely. The cops are there, but only to make sure people don't get crazy.


Last year I actually had a refreshing conversation with a police officer about marijuana. They know it isn't bad, but they have to enforce the law :shrug:

There are shops with custom glass set up all over. I'm going to buy a new piece...the sales are ridiculous.

I'll be there definitely, possibly on acid or mescaline, but maybe not...

Either way I know Friday I will, but not sure about saturday

The cops here know that marijuana isn't a serious crime. Or a crime at all. There are some who are in favor of decriminalization. They aren't idiots...although some truly are.

I've had cops let me go before after being caught with weed...in Seattle it isn't really a big deal
