I had a friend try to sell me some and he said it would make me trip. I said no since I had never heard of it before and wanted to do a little research on it. Its used for people with schitzophrenia and apparantly is schitzophrenia in a pill for those with out. Is there any recreational fun with this?

Actually it's a powerful sedative and if anything, make's you less schizophrenic. But it just puts normal people to sleep very effectively. Constant use, however, has been linked to diabetes and heart problems.

I wouldn't pay for seroquel unless i'd been awake for a few days on a manic episode... It always fucks me up and knocks me out if i've been manic for a while...

I've heard people say it speeds them though so they were probly down when they took it.... It's an anti-psychotic mood stabilizer if i remember correctly...

Anyways...

I wouldn't spend much on the thangs if i were you...

I HIGHLY doubt you'll trip...

They have been a god-send a few times when I was awake for days though...

I agree, their good if you just need to sleep. I wouldn't say they get you "high" but it will give you the munchies you will be eating all kinds of shit before you fall asleep.

Yeah it really depends on what kind of mental state your in when you take them I think... If you're really depressed they will bring you up... If you're really really up and can't sleep they will put you down... but if you fight the urge to sleep for a while you will feel pretty fucked up... similar to a benzo or being drunk in my experience... but i've only taken them when really really really manic for days...

I was actually prescribed Seroquel about a year or so ago for OCD and Insomnia .  I took it for about a month and it made me feel super paranoid.  I was convinced I could see shadows of things that weren't there and read auras lol so I stopped taking it.

I'd assume you could trip off it.

It has been known to have undesirable side effects in some users. Took it before myself.. didn't like it.
I definitely wouldn't call it recreational by any means.
