You guys seen this? We all know raps never gonna be the same, but as far as new school stuff goes, its pretty good. It's not like Eminem where he tries to sound old school and fails, this sounds new school and makes no excuses about it. It's good enough I think.

well, what someone considers to be "good" music is all subjective and depends on opinion.


and after 5+ albums you can't expect his style to stay the same. i found his latest album to be far from oldschool, it's still hiphop but he's gone a lot farther than the general drug/violence rap. most of his newer music has more of a message to it. and doesnt sound anything at all like he's trying to be oldschool to me.

Wiz Khalifa sucks so much ass.  90% of his songs are about smoking weed.  It's fucking weed, the dude sings about it like he's addicted to crack or something.  I really don't care about how much weed some black guy smokes. Fuck.

this is the only wiz khalifa song i like. I just can't stand the fucker. I love snoop though.

Ughh, I really wanted to like this when I turned it on. That Wiz fuck is just horrible and while I love Snoops music from when he was around 18, hes just boring nowadays :shrug:

I still believe in real hip-hop.  Here is an independent aussie group that evolves, but keeps the roots of, real hip-hop.

Of course...this is in my opinion.





Believe it or not, mainstream hip-hop is not the only hip-hop.  And most independent hip-hop is more intelligent than ANYTHING mainstream.

Good tunes :thumbup:, always nice to hear non-American accents in hip hop.

I can dig that too.  This was just one of the groups I had found recently.  I just cannot STAND what mainstream has made hip-hop now.  I can dig Lupe Fiasco and thats about it....and some of it is just plain garbage.

BTW Fuck dre, fuck eminem, fuck 50 cent, what a bunch of sell outs. I'm gonna listen to real music.
