I have too much nitrous oxide

So I went to a festival last week and took 200 wippets with me. They got confiscated and when i went to collect them on the last day i was handed a box with 800 wippets in and 2 dispensers and told to take them away. I proceeded to say they were not mine but he man simply said, we don't want them and no1 else has collected them. So hear I am, 800 nitrous oxide canisters, I've been at home nearly 2days and have done about 24. So basically I need to get rid of them, it's proving pretty damn hard to not inhale them all day long and I don't want to damage my health.. But while i still have them it won't hurt to do another double right. (this is a bad situation)...

The guy who creates a successful TEK to turn a nitrous cartridge into a liquid N2O/solid Paraffin hybrid rocket wins ten internets. If its a multiple use vehicle, easily made, where cartridge and cast paraffin mantle are easily replaced, more so.

Think about it, all the potential for a tremendous burst of specific impulse is there. The burst is short enough for the top of an empty cartridge to be used as a nozzle.

How to break the seal and ignite the gas as it blasts through a hollow paraffin mantle in one smooth operation?



Even if it just flies 500 ft its awesome as all hell isnt it?

I would guess you would want to use an electronic ignition system, so if you were to fill a cylinder made of acrylic and line it with paraffin and line the paraffin with black powder with the nichrome wire to ignite it. :shrug:

Then it is just a matter of breaking the seal.

wow thats awesome. i dont feel like blowing myself up anytime soon though. seems like it could be pretty dangerous..
