My new deck..in progress

How do all!
I decided to expand my deck since the original pillars were degrading and pulling away from the house.
I Still have to lay my rubber roof, replace siding, put up railings and a gutter. I was pretty beat today and made my door openiong a little tight, so I have to pull a 2*4 and rip it thinner tomorrow. Other than that it has been pretty smooth sailing considering it is a one man show..( I did get a little help from a friend to get the 20' header on the posts)
Enjoy the pics! I'm stoked I should have it done by next Monday.

Thanks a bunch guys!
Unfortunately the weather has been for shit for a few days now.
....that is sleet and a covering of ice pictured...
so not much has happened on the deck front. The weather will hopefully let up in a day or two and then I can get back to work.
this spring is crazy..This time last year we were already in the 70's...it has been snow/sleet and 39 for an average this year...no buds on the trees yet either..

Well, we got a break in the rain for the past two days and the weather is not dropping below 45 anymore, so I was able to start moving the project along..
I dropped the gutters in yesterday and today was all about rubber roofs.. This is the first time I have attempted a rubber roof.. I think it came out well..no bubbles..

Tomorrow is more rain for a few days..so yet another holdup..

Very nice. Impressive you did all that yourself. When I was working construction in Quebec there was always a crew of at least 3 of us on projects like that. Digging the holes for the posts is a bastard isn't it.
