USPS vs. FedEx Tyvek!

I have noticed that USPS is nearly impossible to suck air through their tyvek, while FedEx is much easier. Dude made up a couple jars using FedEx for the first time, and colonisation seems to be doing slightly better than USPS. Hopefully FedEx's Tyvek isn't too permeable (if that is the word im looking for). A few days should tell!

You can probably tell, I'm pretty bored tonight...

hmm, i think i mentioned something about fedex's pak's bieng made of tyvek, and someone should try it. glad to see someone did

It's funny, I was at work and picked up the envelope off the floor and said hey, tyvek. The only reason I would have thought of it is because dude had been using USPS for a while. Someone *sorry i forget who* posted about the USPS tyvek envelopes ages ago. I will be going over to dude's jater today, and I'll take a look at the jars. The FedEx ones let much more air through. Hopefully this will turn out to be a good thing. I love free stuff that is useable! :smile:

Me too.
But I think it was Anno that came up with using Tyvek if I remember right.
I use USPS, Fed Ex and Airborne Ex Tyvek envelopes...and have been for quite awhile now.
USPS makes several different Tyvek envelopes btw....at least 3 different ones that I have found.
I haven't noticed any difference in them bro....guess I'll test them all at the same time to see which is faster. :grin:

I'm interested in what you find! Dude hasn't been cooking up many jars lately; he's trying to get the hang of filter bags (they've been somewhat problematic though).
