Try looking up The Widdler or fuckin Caspa & Rusko. The Widdler - Sensi Samurai is one of the  best dubstep songs I've ever heard. And The Widdler - Spaceship Earth is the song that was stuck in my head when I fell off the ledge of consciousness when i fainted on 3.5 grams of shrooms. it was crazy.

Not sayin anyone who can play bass loudly is better than a producer.

And its all the newer hippy kids that are like omg dubstep is the shit blows me away yada yada just pisses me off.
Anyone with simple shit like frooty loops can make dope songs.
A bass with good amp set up, and some pedals will blow dubstep away any day
Shit that actually takes talent to sound good

Dubstep is the amateur DJs best friend.  It usually runs at about 140 BPM (or beats per a minute) which makes it extremely easy to beat match.  Not saying the original beats are easy to make at all but for someone fucking around with two turntables and a mixer its easy to mix. 

Go to one of the many forums about Dubstep and open a couple of songs and play around with them.  Hence the fascination.

It's okay...it can be pretty hard to appreciate dubstep. A lot of people say it's just the same noise being played over and over. And in a lot of cases, it is. That's why you gotta smoke some dank and search for the GOOD dubstep!! Trust me, it's out there...these are some tunes ive been listening to lately. You might not like em', but fuck it, to me they're awesome:

I just don't like how people decide that production on a computer doesn't take skill just because they play "real" fucking instruments..

That shit DOES take skill, it's a completely blank canvas, there are no limits/boundaries to the sounds you can make.. It's like having an instrument that can produce any fucking sound imaginable and then having to think of a song with it..

It's like comparing art drawn with paint to digital art, it's just a completely different field, just because it might not be produced by hand to paint it doesn't mean there's no skill involved.

I've always made sure my music is at a reasonable level so I don't fuck my hearing up, and check just to make sure every time I visit my doctor when I'm sick or something. A lot of my friends have fucked up their hearing and it's a shame, not like it was worth it, especially if you do it with some shitty ass iPod headphones.... I mean, if you're gonna rape your eardrums to the point of no return AT LEAST do it with huge soundsystems at raves/festivals/concerts...

Yeah, it'd probably be more enjoyable to blast my dubstep on a sick sound system than monitors, but not to the point where I'd fuck my hearing up :shrug:
