If you were living in Germany, would you be proud to be a german? I dont get how people can be proud of that when less than a century ago they were massacring innocent people. Thoughts? :sunny:

Well I was watching a show on nazis yesterday, and it showed current people showing great national pride, waving around their flag. That really annoyed me.

Poid I've been to Germany a number of times.

There is still an over riding sentiment of shame for events of the past and a hesitance to embrace anything Nationalistic.

Only in the past few years has Germany started to feel ok about being 'German'.

You viewed a small outlier subsection of the German people on your shitty youtube video yesterday. It has zero explanatory value. Nothing more.
