But, if you're lucky enough to live where Digger Pines grow, you can pick the huge cones once they've opened and eat the pine nuts inside. Which, fresh off the tree, are way better than the ones you buy in bags or get on your salad. I imagine they would be first-rate munchie-food if you're hiking-&-smoking up in the hills somewhere.

Well if you mixed it with shrooms it would get you high, but it wouldn't be the pinecone getting you high it would be the shrooms so don't bother...

Try making some tea out of pine needles. They contain lots of vitamin C and it has a pretty interesting taste to it.
