pot brownies on plane

hey guys i'm going on a class trip to Italy and Greece in a few months and me and some of the people going wanna take some pot brownies with us

i was wondering if its sketchy to take the brownies through the airport and customs

i have never had brownies before so i dont know if they smell or not

let me know if you have ever done this before or if you know anything about it

They will find that shit. In an American airport they usually have dogs, and body scanners.

I have done this before with international flights. My advice to you is eat the brownie right before you go through security, since it takes awhile for the brownie to take effect, depending on how early you get to the airport you should start feeling it as you board the plane.

How many airports are those actually in now?

Definitely not worth it, dogs can smell weed brownies just as easy, eat them before you go into the airport and just score some weed there.

I'd personally never take anything on an airplane. Too sketchy for me.

And the body scanners are in the majority of international airports I think now (not completely sure, just guessing)

BTW, not that I'm encouraging or guaranteeing anything, but...

I've gotten weed from place to place (within the U.S. on airplane post-9/11) by quadruple bagging it and placing it in a shampoo bottle-- on my checked baggage.

I've never tried this going out of the country though. This sounds much riskier, and I'm inclined to think that it's not worth it, as argg said.

yea seriously.. to the first responses saying "you'll be fine with brownies".. wtf are you trying to get this guy busted?  have you ever made or eaten pot brownies?  They definitely smell strongly of weed.  even if you made the brownies with bud butter/oil and filtered out all the weed particles, the brownies still stink. I would not risk it. 

I don't know how likely it is to have drug dogs sniffing you or your bags before the flight..but I would not risk it.  Definitely eat them before you get to the airport then wash your hands like you have OCD.

Hash will be relatively easy to find anywhere in Italy. Weed is a little bit harder especially at the time you will be going as most outdoor grown stuff will be gone by then and all that will be available is indoor (better but more expensive).

Your best bet if you are staying in the same place for a couple of days is to meet some local people and find a source through them. I'd avoid the moroccans and black africans that will probably try and sell you stuff in the more touristy areas as the stuff they sell is awful.

In Italy hash is called, among other things, fumo. You would ideally want to pay more for what is called uovo (egg). These are bullet shaped pieces of hash wrapped in clingfilm that weigh ten grams and have been smuggled by someone who swallows them instead of it being a piece of a brick shipped over. The quality is a LOT better.

Depending on the area prices vary but are generally more expensive than for instance Spain. I'd guesstimate that a 10gr egg should cost between 60 and 90€ and regular hash maybe 4-5 € a gram. That would mean that your standard 20€ slice should be about 1cm thick if it was cut off a standard 100gr brick.

Weed is hard to find at under 7€ a gram unless it is pretty bad stuff.

These are all street prices, not ripoff but not generous and were current a couple of years ago.
