How to not care what others think?
    #13411661 -

How does one not give a fuck? I envy those of you who go through life never feeling social anxiety. Any tips? Thanks

Social anxiety is an outcome of the fact that social beliefs test people against how much they can overcome their natural instincts. For example, homosexuality is generally natural and we all share this in part, some to lesser extents and some to more. In social situations homosexuality is awkward, but yet its natural...thus the problem is that your anxiety is impossible to overcome, as you would first have to compleltly overcome your natural drives. Envy is another good example, showing it in social situations is evil yet envy is so natural.

My view is that the only way to overcome social anxiety is to have a good strategy of manipulating people's perspective and proving that you are what is socially acceptable or overcome your natural desires(which is impossible). Still it feels good to be social so go for it, strategize.

i just look at as people usually go through the same stages and situations through out life, but at different times.so why feel ridiculed or upstaged,or less of yourself when they have to deal with similar issues.i  neither envy or hate ,i always remember that i am happy ,pretty much, with the things i have and do.
ultimately we will  all die someday, so why waste any life worrying bout someone or something who will also fade and not matter any more to us?

its like this ,its not that i dis-like  mankind , but i enjoy nature so so,much more.

For me, it came with age.  I'm almost 30 and don't give a fuck anymore.
