touche mon frere, but then obscure singles are hard to find, the point is that sometimes you couldn't find a torrent and then you could find it on limewire, so it just sucks that another source to search through is gone, but really...it was a kinda shitty source anyway so engh

I stopped using it a long time ago. It is bloated and runs on java I think. A big system hog.
I ran it most recently on Ubuntu but hated it.

I prefer uTorrent.

Im just curious i've never used winamp what is good about it over itunes?
because Itunes seems extremely simple, all I do is drag and drop in a playlist and burn and thats it, plus it supports WAV so thats great for quality CDs, I dont understand how winamp could do that better or faster?

Well the main thing for me is that winamp utilizes FAR less resources and performs FAR quicker than Itunes, it can also play every single format I've ever encountered and is extremely customizable (skins, plugins, etc.) and easy to work with :awesome:

Hell yeah it is. Since I've found out about FLAC and lossless audio, my music library has slowly but surely been going lossless.

I used Limewire back in the day. I always had connection problems so I tried Frostwire a few years back and stuck with that. I go with torrents for whole albums and anything else, and Frostwire for single songs.
