Good Riddance. Limewire is for people too stupid to learn how to use torrents.

And that's saying a lot, because even my mother can use torrents. And she can barely figure out how to transfer photos from her digital camera.

limewire was shit even when it was at it's peak.  Napster was the shit, then you got a bunch of substitute programs, Limewire, Kazaa, Bearshare and then torrents came along and put those programs to shame. 

Torrents = Download an entire discography in a few clicks.

can you put torrents of cds ?  like mix and match the artists?  i feel behind on the times...


limewire is so easy to use just download the songs, make a list, and burn a cd...

You can do anything with the files that you torrent :tongue:

All you gotta do is:

1) get a torrent client like BitTorrent
2) search a tracker or google for something like "Album name" Torrent
3) look for a download that has a lot of seeds (uploaders) and preferably less leachers (downloaders)
4) download the torrent
5) it should automatically open/associate with the torrent client you downloaded
6) it should automatically download
7) double click torrent when its finished and that should open the folder with your downloaded files
8) Do your thang with them
9) ????
10) Profit!

Download the torrent file and open it with utorrent.  A list of files "within" the torrent pop-up.  You pick which files you want to download and click okay.  End of story.

You can find torrent files that are complete series of TV shows.  Instead of searching for certain episodes, you download the single torrent file and your torrent program downloads every episode for you.

Hurry up though, the US is trying to pass a law to shut down any website they don't like, no matter where it is on the planet.  No censorship, just straight up brute force to shutdown and control other sovereign nations.  Long live the land of the free.

Torrents have nothing to do with a CD or mp3's.  It's just a means of downloading files.  They're just like any other files you download.  So the answer is yes, of course you can make mix mp3's.  Files aren't "connected" by the torrent AFTER downloading, it's only to make it easier to pick and choose files to download.  ONce they're downloaded, you can do whatever you want with them.

You could make a mix cd and jerk off in the hole if you want to.

Once you have the files, you can do whatever you want with them.

Yeah you can do anything you want with the files. When you download the torrent they aren't all "lumped" together. They are still individual files. Just open them up with whatever cd burning program you have and do whatever you want.
