How much visine to make someone throw up?

So my buddy just told me my friend had put a big squirt of visine in my drink I just finished. :facepalm: Its the one with USP 0.05 tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride. Am I gonna be sick? I have to work at 6 tomorrow morning... How much will it take to make me sick? I'm 185lbs, 6'

If it's only a little visine, like a squirt I don't really think you'll get the worst of the effects. You might get a little nauseous and if you do, try to eat something and if it doesn't go away let yourself throw up, if you start dry heaving drink water and let yourself puke more, then just drink a cup of salt water for electrolytes and take it easy. It works for me but some people I know have a hard time getting back into the groove once they throw up.

I've been on the ass end of a visine prank and it really isn't funny at all.

But you also might not even feel anything from it, just continue on with the night and deal with it if you start feeling sick.

whenever I put too much in my eye and it ran down my cheek to my mouth, it would just give me really bad shits. Never made me vommit. Your friend is a dick and you should put some exlax in some sort of something a few months down the road. Revenge eye say. Eye for an I.

First, punch that guy in the face. Second, don't worry. Unless you get labored breathing you'll probably just be nauseous. A drop is only 0.05mL. If you got 4 drop in you and the solution is .05% w/v than you probably consumed 0.20mL x .05g/100mL = 0.0001g = 0.1mg of tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride.

I'm surprised this is so popular. When you wiki "tetrahydrozoline" the only related article is visine prank. The prank is also mentioned on the visine page.

Being paranoid might hit you worse than the visine.

Drink some water, relax, and see how you do. If you get horribly ill then make sure you seek medical attention. OD on that stuff usually involves a half to a full bottle before getting really ill effects.

dude that is pretty fuckin nuts. I use Visine everyday and i never knew swallowing it could make you so sick. Im a have to be careful and not get it in my mouth!
