Anonymous #18 said: I don't see how men can want to spread their genes unscrupulously and yet women wouldn't, prefering to be choosy? It doesn't make sense.
Even if a woman invests 9 months in time being pregnant, based on that reasoning it would still be better for them to screw as many men as possible in order to get the healthiest sperm, and to have as many men interested in the welfare of the child that results.
So it's either: women and men are BOTH sluts, or nothing.
At the end of the day, I really don't think any of these primitive, animalistic type theories of human "mating behaviour" have any relevance in modern society.
Do your self a favor and spend some time reading. ANYTHING! There are so many things that dont make sense in this post that it really seems like you need it.
Even if its just a simple 8th grade pamphlet about "The birds and the bees," it'll help.
I second this, #18 obviously learned about biology from a scientology pamphlet.
I have a PhD in a science discipline
And it’s obviously not medicine!
Really, your earlier statement makes it seem like you have no idea whatsoever about how reproductive systems in men and women work. And I am talking about humans, that cat thing I said earlier, as I explained, was off topic LEARN TO READ. Besides what's on those links does not in any way contradict anything I said LEARN TO READ!!
If you cannot see what’s wrong with what you said then a reading on basic human anatomy of sexuality will be of great help. Want some help figuring out were you went wrong? Human reproductive systems dont work the way cats reproductive systems do, if we were talking about animals, your statement might have made some sort of sense, but this topic is not about animals. Any mention of them was clearly stated to be off topic LEARN TO READ.
And by the way
Quote: I have been taught to think for myself and not just believe everything I read in a textbook.
coupled with your addition of reading material to the post = So you dont believe text books but you believe the internet? Way to go.
Totally OT as well, but I bet that if you do indeed have a PhD its probably in Physics, Engineering or Computer Science
