Shit, that looks like a scene from the Adams Family.

Very depressing times but every thing was affordable even though the miminum pay was a Dollar an hour.

6 burgers for a dollar. Cigarettes 25 cents a pack, bread 25 cents a loaf. the movies were 75 cents, Milk was 60 cents a gall90on and gasoline was 14 cents a galleon.

I'm so damn young that I had to re-read "6 burgers for a dollar" because I thought it said 6 dollars for a burger... then I realized what the hell was going on.
