More like people that paid for cable and watched all the commercials in between the show, and now want a collection all up front, and are internet savvy enough to safely obtain said material.  I take it you've never taped anything off the radio or TV?

It's still stealing. 

Simpsons runs on Fox.  Fox is a network.  That is free, so you didn't need to pay for cable.  Your mistake.

Well my TV comes from an HD cable box that I pay for with my job in which I work 5 days a week.  I watched the last Treehouse of Terror marathon and DVR'ed it.    Comcast gave me the ability to do that.  They didn't give me the ability to convert that onto my PC though.  Is that considered stealing?

Well you should start writing letters to comcast then and tell them to abolish DVR because it's stealing since you're so passionate.  So say you buy the movie when it's released on DVD.  Are you going to send the company money each time you press play on your DVD player?  I think not.  I'm in full support of owning a copy of the movie after I see it in theaters.  I paid $14 for it...


The government only cares about profits.  Keeping a copy for personal use is one thing, charging people to come over and watch it is another.

Yeah I stopped enjoying the new one's around 2000-2003.  It's still funny, but doesn't have that classic Simpson's feel anymore.
