It really is sad and I hope that many people see how stupid and sad it is. Unfortunately, there are always those that will try to be what was seen on TV.

I've seen the show once. I absolutely hate the show, but I find it fucking hilarious.

We couldn't think of a comedy to put on so we turned on Jersey Shore instead :shrug:

word. in canada we have much music channel.. what a joke theres about 20% music programs where people text message what songs they want to see on the show so it's always the same bullshit popular gay ass shit and the rest of the programming is retarded teenage reality tv shows. fuck television i threw mine out.

Its the only MTV show I watch, I didn't even know I got MTV until I was looking for this show last season and noticed I get it.

A few years ago I used to watch The Andy Dick show, fuck it was funny cause Andy is such a fucked up druggie.

I can't believe more people here DON'T like the show. It's fucking hilarious and I know how high horse people on the Shroomery are about being counterculture. The Jersey Shore is a perfect opportunity to look down on some people and laugh at how fucking ridiculous they are.

This. I HATE TV with a passion and especially MTV but I caught this show with my girl on accident a few weeks ago and we were laughing our asses off ever since.
This shit is funny. Apparently, it's really fun to laugh at stupid people who think they are super cool and famous and see what hi-jinks they get into this time.
They should call it the facepalm show lol.

I finally saw some of Jersey Shore last night. Holy fuck. When that Snooky or snickers bitch, whatever, started bitching about the tan tax i got dragged down like 15 IQ points, laughed, and threw up in mouth a little. "...McCain would never put a 10% tax on tanning. Because he’s pale and would probably want to be tan." That airtight reasoning, he's had melanoma like 3482190715045179.2 times fuuuuuuuck you. :facepalm: I can see why more mature audiences would enjoy the show. Its hard not to laugh at the reasoning and behaviors these fucking toons engage in. However there are a lot of teens and even children that watch this shit and cant separate/identify the right and wrong. They internalize it and embrace it as a model of acceptable behavior and adulthood. Whats worse is that many of these disconnected celebrities are borderline (if not full-blown) retarded, have done absolutely jackshit. Yet they are becoming more and more accepted and in some cases, they are slowly becoming voice of reason and right in America. America is fucked (see Idiocracy).
I used to think MTV (and tv in general) was hurting the youth back in the day. Now im positive they are absolutely destroying them with this dumbed down filth. Just a bunch of people on fake dates, pregnant teen mothers, and 7 strangers picked to live in a house... with absolutely no gd music and commercial breaks 10min long. What happened to semi-quality programing such as Beavis and Butthead (haaaaa yeah i hear they are coming back)? Yeah fuck me, im just ranting.
They need to have a Shroomery Shore. Id watch the fuck out of that. That'd fix America. *fistpumps*
